Community Service Hours

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) requires Capital City Bank to submit a report to the Federal Reserve of the Bank's and associates' efforts to reinvest in our communities in a meaningful way.

We know our associates are active in our communities and may already be involved with CRA-focused organizations, but we can only claim those hours if they are reported. The bank's new CRA solution link has been added to Netinterest.

Submitting Community Service Hours

To submit Community Service Hours, do the following: 

  1. On NetInterest > Community Involvement, click Submit Community Involvement Hours.
  2. Complete the Capital City Bank Volunteer Service form. 
    • Information entered automatically determines if service hours are CRA-eligible.
    • Hover over the ? icon anywhere on the form to learn about this field.
  3. Click the Organization drop-down and select the organization you performed community services with. 
    • Note: If your organization does not exist in the list provided, please email CRAsupport@ccbg.com. Requests are responded to within 24 to 48 business hours. If approved, a follow-up email will confirm that the requested organization has been added to the list, at which point you can complete the service hours form. When emailing, include the following information:
      • Organization Name
      • Mission Statement
      • Web Address
      • Physical address (include: street, city, state, and zip code)
  4. In the Volunteer section, complete the following information:
    1. CCB e-mail address
    2. First name 
    3. Last name 
    4. Job title 
    5. Office location. 
      • Note: A drop-down menu appears. Select the office location where you work.
      • Note: This information will automatically populate the next time you access this form and enter your e-mail address.
  5. In the Details section, complete the following information:
    1. Click Service Date and enter the date you performed community services (for example: 07/14/2022).
    2. Click Duration and enter the number of hours served (for example: 1.25). 
      • Note: To record multiple service dates and durations for the same organization, click + after each duration is entered. Another row with Service Date and Duration fields appears when you click +.
    3. Click the Service Role dropdown and select the appropriate role.
  6. In the Description field, explain how your service benefitted the organization volunteered for.
    • Note: Please be as detailed as possible when describing your service. These details help determine if a community service entry qualifies as CRA-eligible. 
  7. Optional: In the Attachments field, click the paperclip icon to add photos or supporting documents.
  8. In the Location section, click Add Location
    1. Enter the address where you performed community service hours and use the drop-down menu to select the desired address from the options provided.
    2. Click Submit
  9. In the Impact section, click the Development Activities dropdown.
    1.  Select the Development Activities applicable to community services performed:
      1. Affordable Housing - housing services targeting Low-Moderate Income (LMI) individuals
      2. Community Services - services targeting LMI individuals
      3. Economic Development - job creation-retention, business expansion 
      4. Revitalization/stabilization - disaster, underserved, LMI areas
        • Note: If none of these activities apply, select N/A.
        • Note: These options, in addition to any volunteer details provided (see 5.d.), determine if a community service entry qualifies as CRA-eligible. 
  10. Check the box that states "I have read the ? icons and ensure that the information provided is complete and correct."
  11. Click Submit
    1. Your community service information is recorded. The next screen displays your confirmation. 
    2. Note: If you would like an e-mail receipt of this entry, click Send Receipt.

Volunteer Service Receipt/Report

If you want a receipt but accidentally closed the CRA page before requesting one, you can still obtain one by opening this form again and clicking the graph icon in the upper-right corner.

A pop-up entitled Report Request will open. Enter your e-mail address to receive a link to your volunteer service report. This report contains volunteer service granted to the e-mail address provided.
