The Privacy Notice is required by Regulation P and must be provided to the applicant at the time of application and is included in each application packet. The notice advises how the bank may or may not share information about an applicant.

The Privacy Notice is provided when the loan requested is:

• Consumer purpose, and
• Applicant does not have an existing account with the bank

The Privacy Notice is provided when an account includes:

• Safe deposit box
• Checking
• Savings
• CD
• Loan

A Privacy Notice may be printed if you are unable to locate a brochure in your office.
