Form 1098 Tax Document

What is a 1098?

A form 1098 is a mortgage interest statement that details the amount of interest and related expenses paid on a mortgage during the tax year.

Form 1098 provides clients with information about interest paid to CCB on a loan secured by real estate.



Who gets a Form 1098?

Clients who have paid at least $600 in interest will be issued a form 1098.



Who does not receive Form 1098?

Clients that have paid less than $600 in interest will not receive a form 1098.

The following loan types will not be issued a form 1098:

  • 04-06, 10-13, 15-16, 20-21, 24, 27-29, 31, 45-49
