Elan eMail Marketing Campaign

Capital City Bank is promoting consumer credit card offers to our clients using an email platform provided by YesMail. YesMail is an independent email platform that has contracted with Elan Financial Services, Capital City Bank's credit card provider.

Clients receive promotional offers from the email address creditcards@elancreditcards.com.  

How to Opt Out

If a client contacts our offices and indicates that he/she does not want to receive the credit card marketing emails, advise the client of the opt-out procedures.

  • Access the marketing email received and click Unsubscribe at the bottom of the message.
  • If the client cannot find the email, advise him/her to search for the email address creditcards@elancreditcards.com.

OR

  1. Submit a Synapsys Service event.
  2. In Xperience, click the CRM button.
    1. Click New Event/Activity > Create New Event > Service Session
    2. Choose Deposit Services > DS - Other maintenance.
    3. Click OK.
    4. Choose the Account Number/Type from the drop-down menu.
    5. Complete the Summary and Comments as indicated below.  

How to Tell if a Client Has Opted Out

Do the following:

  1. In Xperience, click the client CIF.
  2. Navigate to the Customer Inquiry tab.
  3. Under Special Information Codes, look for the following:
    • All Email Opt Out = Client has opted out of all email communications including advertisements, direct marketing, and Elan marketing.
    • Elan Email Opt Out = Client has opted out of Elan email marketing only.
