As a manager you are required to meet with each member of your team for a 1 on 1 once a month. A coaching template has been created in OneNote to provide a structure for these coaching sessions and assist you with keeping track of what was discussed with your associates.
Opening The Coaching OneNote
To open the Coaching OneNote notebook, do the following
- In the share drive (J: drive) go to Lead Teller > [Office Name] folder.
- Open the folder Coaching OneNote.
- Open the file Open Notebook.onetoc2.
Creating Coaching Template Pages
You can create and set a page template to auto-populate every time a new page is added to a specified section in your OneNote notebook. Using a default template for new pages in your Coaching Form and PDP Conversation Guide sections makes it easy to fill out the forms and keep track of your coaching sessions.
Note: Make sure you are saving a BLANK unfilled out form as your template, and that you are in your office's notebook, not a public notebook.
Follow the steps below to create the Retail Coaching Form Template and set it as your default page.
- Once in your office's Coaching notebook, click on the Retail Coaching Form section.
- From the menu at the top, click Insert.
- In the Insert menu ribbon, click Page Templates.
- At the bottom of the Templates menu panel, click Save current page as a template.
- In the Save as Template window, type “Retail Coaching Form” in the Template Name field.
- Click the box next to Set as default template for new pages in the current section.
- Click Save.
- Change your notebook section by clicking on the PDP Conversation Guide section.
- Repeat steps 2-7 naming your new template "PDP Conversation Guide".
You have successfully created your new default templates.
