To add or edit your Employee Withholding Certificate (W-4), do the following:
1. From the StarAccess home page, do one of the following:
- Click the Income Tax tile. The Income Tax Summary screen displays or
- Click Menu > Myself tab > Income Tax (under Pay, middle column).
2. Locate Things I Can Do (top right box), click Add/Change Withholding Form (W-4). The Withholding Forms (W-4) screen displays.
3. Click Employee's Withholding Certificate (W-4). The Withholding - Federal screen displays.
4. Select your answers using the radio buttons (dots) to display the next question to complete Steps 1 and 2. If you select Yes in Step 2, use the checkbox if it applies and follow the instructions within the blue banner.
5. Select Yes or No to Step 3. Use the text boxes to respond with numbers.
6. Answer Step 4 questions with dollar amounts in the text boxes. Enter 0 for none.
7. Click Next.
8. Click the checkbox to acknowledge that the information is true and correct.
9. Click Sign & Save.
