Financial Planning
Financial planning involves looking at a client's entire financial picture and advising them on how to achieve their short- and long-term financial goals. From saving for education and planning for retirement to effectively managing taxes and insurance, financial planners develop valuable relationships with their clients to provide them with confidence today and a more secure tomorrow.
Retirement Accounts
Retirement accounts such as IRAs, SEPs, and 401(k) plans help clients save for retirement using pre-tax dollars, which allows for a larger contribution. Compounding over time can result in a larger balance upon retirement. Pre-tax and post-tax retirement products including Roth IRAs are available for individuals and businesses.
Mutual Funds
Mutual Funds combine money from many investors and place the money in stocks, bonds and other securities, or a combination of the 3. They are managed by a professional portfolio manager who actively adjusts the funds' portfolios to try to increase their value. They provide the client a great way to diversify their portfolio.
Annuities
Annuities offer many unique benefits to help you meet your retirement goals—tax-deferred growth, no IRS contribution limits, and flexible withdrawals. These contracts, offered by insurance companies, are a great way to obtain a guaranteed stream of income during retirement.
Stocks
Signifying an ownership position in a corporation, stocks are usually considered a long-term investment. Historically, they provide higher returns than CDs and money market accounts with more volatility.
Bonds
These fixed-income funds provide investors with important features like monthly income, portfolio diversification, professional money management, and daily liquidity.
Tax Advantaged Securities
These include municipal bonds, 529 plans, annuities, and others. Different investments allow you to defer taxes at different levels of income and need. Annuities are insurance products that based on the specific insurance contract can provide some level of guaranteed protection, growth, or income.
Life Insurance
Life insurance services and products for clients are handled by a partnership with Capital City Wealth. An important part of a sound financial plan, life insurance provides a valuable benefit to your beneficiaries upon your death. Your beneficiaries can then use this money to replace some of the income you would have earned or to help pay off debts or other expenses.
Long-Term Care Insurance
Long-term care insurance services and products for clients are also handled by a partnership with Capital City Wealth. This type of insurance provides coverage for people who have a chronic illness or disability and need assistance with the activities of daily living. These services can include home health care/home care, care in a nursing home, respite care, adult day care, or care in an assisted-living facility/residential-care facility.
