Proof of Active Status is required when a business is involved with a loan transaction. The proof of active status provides evidence that the business has filed the necessary paperwork and paid the required fees with the State it was formed in and in which it is authorized to do business in.
Obtain the Proof of Active Status from the Secretary of State's office sites:
- Alabama: Secretary of State - Alabama
- Florida: Secretary of State - Florida
- Georgia: Secretary of State - Georgia
