Login Status

Definitions for Client Login Status for Online Banking Services

  • Normal means the client can log in with his/her username and password.
  • Password Change Required means the system generated a new password for the user, which was not yet used to log in but is still valid.
  • Login Locked Out means the user cannot log in because the maximum number of 3 unsuccessful attempts was exceeded.
    • Link to Client Locked out of Online Banking
  • Temporary Access Code Required -The system sent a SAC to the client, which has not yet been used to log in.
  • Login Disabled -The login has been disabled. An example of why we disabled it would be if someone else is logging into the clients bank online.
  • Expired Password -The client does not have an active password. This can occur if the client has never logged into Online Banking, or begins the Forgot-Your-Password process. This status indicates that a SAC was generated, but the client has not yet set a password. This status may also appear if a client does not reset a password before the end of a password's time limit, if one was set by us.
  • New Password has expired - We have generated a new password for the client, but it was not used to log in and therefore expired.
    • Right-click client information and choose Renew Initial Password to extend the time period for which the password is valid.
