Send a one-time Phone Access Code (PAC) to the client’s cell phone number or email address on file. Click on relevant tab for instructions or the e-mail address based on carrier.
Sending a One-time Phone Access Code
- Verify CIF maintenance. If the phone or e-mail maintenance has been completed in the last 30 days, the caller is not eligible for a PAC.
- Tell the caller to log in to Online Banking Chat or Message Center or visit the nearest office.
- Ask the client’s permission to send a text message or email for verification purposes.
- If the caller is eligible and agrees to receive text or email, click Phone Access Code Generator to create a random access code.

- In the To field, enter the e-mail or the cell phone number (see the table below for carrier-specific format).
- Enter the access code as indicated.
- Once you have sent the code, ask the caller to read back the code for verification.
