Contact Events

To enter a contact event for a client, do the following:

  1. In Xperience > Products > Synapsys CRM > Desktop. The Home/Suite Manager screen displays. 
  2. In the Client Search field, enter the client or business name. Note: Change the search type from the drop-down menu to the appropriate field. 
  3. Click Search. The client's 10 Second View screen displays.
  4. Click New Event/Activity > Create New Event > Contact Event
  5. Complete the fields as follows: 
    1. Summary - Purpose of proactive outreach.
    2. Assigned To - Defaults to associate creating the event. 
    3. Type - Select the appropriate type based on the purpose of proactive outreach (for example: 2223 for client onboarding calls).
    4. Status - Move status based on client outreach calls (see Status Definitions for details on each status). 
    5. Comments - Enter any notes from the call that assist with future client contacts.
    6. Ticklers - Create ticklers when following up or when additional actions are needed to further assist the clients. These appear as tasks in Outlook.
    7. On-Boarding Tiered Ticklers - Use only for 2223 contact events. Once selected, ticklers for each additional part of onboarding automatically populate and appear as tasks in Outlook.
  6. Click Save.
