Handling Wire Requests Received After Cutoff Time

The cutoff time for all outgoing wires is 2:00 PM EST.

If a client requests to send a Domestic or Foreign wire after the cutoff time and cannot return the following day:

  1. Input the wire instructions, but Electronic Services (ES) will hold the wire and will not process it until the next business day.
  2. Inform the client the wire will not be processed until the next morning.
  3. Review the wire form.
  4. Print the wire form, have the client verify wire instructions, and obtain client's signature.
  5. Input associate must sign the wire form. Obtain approval if necessary.
  6. On the form under the date and sequence number write Next Day Wire.
  7. E-mail _Wires Group if the client needs the wire to be sent the same day and ES will determine if the wire can be sent.
