This article describes how the bank processes cash and check deposits in ATMs, and what to do if cash/check deposits do not display in Passport or the client's account history.
Cash deposited before 9:00 PM ET appears in the client’s available balance a few minutes after the transaction.
Check deposits appear in the client's history the following business day after nightly processing. Note: You can view the cash/check ATM deposit history in Passport immediately after the transaction. Checks deposited between Friday 9:05 PM ET to Monday 9:05 PM ET show in the client's history that Tuesday morning after processing is completed.
If cash or check deposits do not appear in Passport or the account history as expected, e-mail _ATMSATMNotifications with the following information:
- Client name
- Account number
- Last 4 numbers of the card used for transaction
- Date of transaction
- Time of deposit
- Type of deposit (cash/check)
- Amount of deposit
- If you have multiple machines at your office, which terminal
Important: File an error resolution in Centrix when you learn about the dispute. Do not process the check through the teller line.
