Consumer Wire Dispute Timeline

Associates must begin the dispute process immediately upon receiving notification from a client regarding a wire dispute. Clients have 180 days from when the wire occurs and the Reg E disclosure is given to the client, to dispute the transaction.

The Transactional Risk & Fraud Prevention department completes an investigation process for all Centrix disputes. Reg E requires us to notify the client within 3 business days if we determine that an error has been made and we must resolve the error within 90 business days

If our investigation determines that no error has been made, we must mail written results to the client within 3 business days.
