When fielding requests to remove signers from accounts, keep these things in mind:
Do not remove a client that is both an authorized signer and an owner.
Remove an owner from an account only if:
- Account Owner is deceased and there are joint owners
- The account is closed
- Normal closed account procedures are followed
The ONLY exceptions are:
- Removing Adult Joint Owners from a Level Up Account
- Removing Account Owners with Officer Approval
- Removing Authorized Signers from Business Accounts
Account owners can remove and/or change a convenience signer on the account.
