- The division head approves the portfolio change by notifying Credit Administration of the officer designation.
- If the re-assigned accounts are transferring to a different market or division, obtain the approval of both division heads.
- If all accounts are changing to 1 officer code, Credit Administration requests a mass maintenance through Client Software Support. The fee for this service is billed to the department requesting the change.
- If the portfolio is being divided among more than one officer code, the request is processed as a Multiple Account change request.
- When the maintenance is complete, the new officer code appears in the primary officer code field and the prior officer code appears in the sales associate field.
Monitoring
- Credit Administration generates a report approximately 30 days after an associate has left the bank.
- If his/her accounts have not been transferred to an existing associate, Credit Administration contacts the division head to identify who should be identified as the primary officer.
