Builder's Risk Insurance

The Builder's Risk Insurance verifies our collateral is covered in case of loss by theft, fire, or other perils during the construction or renovation of a structure.

Builder's Risk Insurance should be obtained from the borrower, builder, or directly from the insurance agent and is required when the loan is for construction or renovations/improvements to an existing structure.

 

Documentation is completed when: 

  • Adequate amount of coverage. Adequate = outstanding principal balance.
  • Capital City Bank listed as lien holder or mortgagee 
  • Effective date on or before the loan date

 

Note: Draws will not be permitted if documentation is not submitted and completed accurately.
