Overview
4|sight Web Research stores check and deposit images for accounts. Item information archives after processing, allowing item and image research, report generation, statement search, and statement printing. The Web Research program provides navigation features that allow you to search, view, print, and export item data for images processed.

Note: If you have issues viewing items in 4|sight when accessing through Xperience, access 4|sight through https://opsip-4sightD3.jha-sys.com/4sightWR/.
A System Job Access form is required for associates to receive a user name and password for access to 4|Sight Web Research.
For security purposes, if there is no activity in Web Research for 10 minutes, the session expires and forces the user back to the log in page. A 1 minute notice is provided.

Note: If you are locked out of 4|sight Web Research, contact the Help Desk at ext. 397400.
Log In/Password
The first time you log in to 4|sight Web Research, do the following:
- In Xperience > Products > choose 4|Sight.
- Click LOGIN.
- Enter a Username and enter the word password (all lowercase) in the Password field.
- Click Log In.

Note: If you receive the following Login Error, click OK and complete step 3. again.
- If you continue to receive the error, you likely did not have access to eVision, therefore you do not have access to 4|sight Web Research.

- A prompt displays, click OK.
- Enter the following:
- Username = Username established in Step 3.
- Old Password = password
- New Password = Enter new password
- Confirm Password = Enter new password again
- A prompt displays, click OK.
- Enter your Username and Password.

Item Research
4|sight Web Research allows you to perform item research through a simple, advanced, or saved search.

Note: If your search pages appear to be ‘stuck’ and/or you are unable to scroll, do the following:
- Click the in the top right corner of your browser.
- Zoom out and the issue should resolve.
Simple Search
The Simple search option allows you to enter criteria for a single account.
- In Xperience > Products > 4|sight > Web Research & Reporting.
- If you have issues viewing items in 4|sight when accessing through Xperience, access 4|sight through https://opsip-4sightD3.jha-sys.com/4sightWR/.
- Enter a Start Date/End Date manually mm/dd/yyyy or select the calendar icon to choose a date or Today/Yesterday.
- Optionally, enter the account number in the Single Account field and select the account type from the drop-down menu.
- Use the magnifying glass icon to search for an account using optional account details.
- Use the magnifying glass icon to search for an account using optional account details.
- Narrow the search results by entering low or high values to one of more of the following:
- Amount (with or without a decimal)
- Serial (check #)
- Transaction Code
- Transit Routing
- Host Image Number
- Endorsed Item Number
- Click Search.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to view search results. Items display with front and back images and item information.
- Click on an item to view images above.
- You may narrow your search further by using the search filters.

Advanced Search
The Advanced Search option gives you the ability to create and run complex searches.
- In Xperience > Products choose 4|sight to access the Web Research application.
- Click Advanced to perform an advanced search.
- Enter a Start Date/End Date manually mm/dd/yyyy or select the calendar icon to choose a date or Today/Yesterday.
- Enter the desired value in the Value field and a Max Value to search a range of values.
- Click the Add button to add additional search criteria.
- Once all search criteria are entered, click Search.
- Scroll down to view the search results in the grid.
Saved Searches
You have the ability, when working in Web Research, to save searches that you run regularly.
To create a saved a search, do the following:
- In Xperience > Products choose 4|sight to access the Web Research application.
- Enter your simple or advanced search criteria.
- Click the Saved Search button then Save.
- Assign a name to the saved search and choose the access level.
- Public searches are available to all users.
- Private searches are available only to the user who created them.
- Do not change the remaining fields.
- Click Save.
To access a Saved Search, do the following:
- Click the My Searches drop-down arrow.
- My Searches are viewable only to the creator of the search.
- Public Searches are viewable to all users.

Statement Research
Statement Research is used to find and print statements.

- Enter Statement Search Options.
- You have 3 options for selecting dates for your search:
- Leave all fields blank to search statements with all dates
- Enter a Start Date to search a specific date
- Enter a Start Date and End Date to search a date range
- You can use a partial account number to find statements associated with an account or use account lookup to search for accounts using basic CIF information.
- Use the drop-down menus to choose additional search criteria.
- Results display in a grid. Select column headers to sort the results by that column.
- A single click sorts in ascending order, a second click sorts in a descending order, and a third click removes the sort order.
- Select items by clicking the checkbox for that item or choose Select All for all items.
- Once the statement selection is complete, click Print to choose print options.
- A prompt displays when the statements are ready in the Print Queue.
- In the Print Queue, open the statement by clicking on the Status link.
- Ready - link to the statement
- Cancel - statement is not finished. Click Cancel to cancel the request.
- Fail - indicates something occurred that caused the statement print request to fail.
- Items remain in the print queue even if you log off and log back on.
Reports
Web Research Reports allows users to define parameters when generating 1 of the available reports. Reports are grouped in collapsible panels.

Click the > or \/ symbol to expand or collapse report categories.
Hover over a report name and click the star to set the report to the Favorites section.
The panel on the right is used to enter parameters for a selected report and run the report.


Print Options
When viewing an image, use the image navigation bar to do the following:
- Rotate the Image
- Invert the Image
- Swap the Image
- Restore the Image
- Save any Changes
Print Queue
Print jobs display per user and appear in the Print Queue and remain there even if the user logs out and back in. The print queue is cleared at end-of-day. A pop-up notification displays for each print job submitted and also when the print job is ready to view in the Print Queue. A user can select the Ready - View Document pop-up notification to view the print job, or select the print job from the Print Queue on the Web Research header.


A print job can have one of the following four statuses:

Cancel ends a running print job before it is completed.
- Canceling a print job removes it from the list.

Ready indicates that the print job is ready to view.
- Once a print job has been viewed, the status is automatically changed from Ready to View.

View indicates the print job has been viewed.
- Selecting View displays the print job again.

Failed indicates that the job failed.
- Selecting Failed displays the reason for the failure
Quick Print - PDF
When viewing an image, use the left navigation panel to choose Quick Print then save as PDF.


Mark your and click Print to access the Print Options window and print physical copies of items.


Note: To print an image, choose Images. To print an entire transaction set choose TSets.
Print Cart
To store multiple items to print at once, select your items and click Print Cart.

When you are ready to print all items in your Cart, click Print Cart in your top menu bar.


Export to Excel
To export items to an Excel spreadsheet, choose your items and click Export.
