Overview
Invalid PIN
Transactions block if an invalid PIN is entered. Use either Passport Inquiry or VISA DPS to determine if a transaction is blocked due to an invalid PIN.
Xperience
In Passport Inquiry:
- Verify the Client's identity
- In Xperience > Customer & Account Inquiry
- Set Search Criteria to All Types
- Search name, account number or CIF
- Select the client's account
- Select Related Functions in the top right hand corner
- Choose PassPort Inquiry
- Select card
- Select History to view transactions
- Choose PassPort Inquiry
- View Transaction Status:
- Error code: Invalid PIN (55)
- To reset a client's forgotten PIN, follow these procedures.
- If the card is in an X locked out status, follow these procedures.
VISA DPS
In VISA DPS:
