Clients will be asked a series of questions to aid in personal identification during the Online Account Opening process. If clients are unable to be identified through this process they will receive an email from Capital City Bank.

For your protection, we need to verify your identity before finalizing your new account, and we are unable to do so with the information provided on your application. (Banker Name) at the (Office Name) has received your information and is standing by to help. Please stop by the office at your earliest convenience so we can verify your identity in person. Please remember to bring two of the following forms of identification with you, one from the Primary ID list AND one from the Secondary ID list.
Associates
If a client comes to the office saying they attempted to open an account online and received an email indicating their identity could not be verified; Follow the Identification Verification Procedures to identify the client. Be sure to complete a ChexSystems inquiry for this client and follow normal account opening procedures.
