The following are common audit violations for Regulation CC:

• Failure to give next day credit for the first $225 of items not subject to next day availability
• Hold remains in place one day too long. Note: The hold does not come off at the opening of business on the day in question.
• Failure to state on the hold notice the number of days after the date of deposit the hold will come off
• Not properly completing the hold notice form
