Overview

Capital City Bank processes transactions until the close of the business day. Memo post maintenance provides an immediate credit to a client, and therefore, memo post transactions are marked as today's transactions. 

Memo post transactions processed using the two options below drop off the system at the nightly processing:

• Menu Option.
• Demand Deposit Accounts (DDA) or Savings Inquiry Screen memo post.

Memo Post Maintenance Procedures

To perform memo post maintenance from the menu option, do the following: 

1. Verify the identity of the client by using one of the following:
   • Identification: CSC Phone Procedures
   • Clients in person
2. In Xperience > SilverLake > Demand Deposit Menu > Demand Deposit Transaction Menu > Memo Post Maintenance.
3. Search by TIN, name, or account number.
4. Verify the account title and the available balance in the account.
5. Click Add Item to add a memo post-transaction.
6. Input the amount of the memo post.
7. Choose Debit or Credit.
8. Input any appropriate remarks in the Remarks field.
9. The Next Day Transaction field should remain N for no.
10. Click Submit.
