You can only print debit cards if your office is an Instant Issue card office. Clients must be present in the lobby for the instant issue debit card to be issued. Never issue Instant Issue Debit Cards through the drive-thru.
Issuing Consumer/Personal Cards
To issue a new instant issue debit card for a personal account, do the following:
- Complete all regular processes in Xperience > StreamLine to create/edit the client account, order cards, and upload the record. (Note: New cards do not appear in Entrust without being uploaded).
- Ensure that the PIN pad is connected to the computer and clear of any messages.
- If Entrust is not already running, log in to Entrust.
- Check the device status.
- If the device status is disconnected or offline, e-mail _InstantIssue.
- In Entrust, click Integrated Client.
- In the Account # field, enter the account number.
- Click Load. A list of cards displays.
- Check the box by the card to be issued.

- In the Process drop-down menu, select Issue.
- Select Card Mailer.
- In the PIN box, click Auto Generated PIN.
- Make sure the correct mailer (business or consumer) is loaded in to the printer.
- Click Process.
- From the Process drop-down menu, choose:
Issue
For new account, first debit card issued, or only 1 card listed in Step 9.
- In the PIN box, click Select PIN.
- Never auto generate a pin.
- Tell the client to enter a 4-digit PIN on the PIN pad and press the green button.
- Never enter a PIN for a client.
- When the PIN pad prompts, tell the client to re-enter the PIN and press the green button.
- In the PIN box, click Select PIN.
Re-Issue - Transfer PIN
If more than one card is listed in Step 9, choose Issue - Transfer PIN. This function allows clients to transfer their PIN from one card to another.
- Select the card number to transfer the PIN from.
- Select the card number to transfer the PIN from.
- In Entrust, click Process.
- Do one of the following:
- If the print quality is below standard, do not give the card to the client, but instead quality reject and reissue the card.
- If the print quality is acceptable, continue to the next step.
- Check the status of the card in Passport.
- Remind the client that the card is active and ready for use.
- (Optional) Tell the client that a balance inquiry from an ATM is a great way to test the card.
- Provide the client with the new Instant Issue Card in the card carrier.

Issue
- In Entrust, click Process

For CR825 Single Hopper Machines ONLY, do the following:
- The system prompts you to insert the business debit card.
- Under dual control, access the Dual Control Business Card Box.
- Remove 1 business card and re-lock the Dual Control Business Card Box.
- Insert the business debit card, UNDERNEATH the previously loaded cards, in the machine opening until you hear a click. See Loading Contactless Debit Cards for video instruction.
- Press the orange light on the front of the instant issue machine.
Once the light turns green, the business card prints.
- The system prompts you to insert the business debit card.

For CR825 Single Hopper Machines ONLY, do the following:

Do one of the following:
- If the print quality is below standard, do not give the card to the client, but instead quality reject and reissue the card.
- Double-check the printed name(s) on the card.
- Ensure both the business name and authorized signer names are present.
- If the print quality is acceptable, continue to the next step.
- Check the status of the card in Passport.
- Remind the client that the card is active and ready for use.
- Best practice: Tell the client that a balance inquiry from an ATM is a great way to test the card.
- Provide the client with the new Instant Issue Card in the card carrier.
