A Privacy Booth provides clients with a private space to interact with their safe deposit box and contents. Safe-deposit box transactions that take 30 seconds or less may be performed in the vault. A 30-second transaction involves nothing more than opening the box, dropping an item in, and re-closing the box. Escort the client to a privacy booth if the transaction will take more than 30 seconds.
To ensure prior clients have not left anything behind, authorized associates are required to inspect the privacy booth before the client uses the booth. When the client is done in the privacy booth, the authorized associate will inspect the booth, in the presence of the client, to ensure that no items were accidentally left behind. If an associate or client finds a lost item(s) in the privacy booth or vault area, see Found Property for more information.
- Note: Wastebaskets are not permitted in the privacy booth or vault areas.
Once the client enters the privacy booth they may not leave the booth to conduct other banking business. If the client must conduct other banking business, the box must be returned to the lockbox and re-entry into the box documented.
