Retail Leadership Onboarding Plan

In the steps and documents below you can find a comprehensive step-by-step guide for onboarding new retail leaders the Capital City Bank (CCB) way. For the first 3 days, follow the CCB onboarding plan for all new associates found in the article, Onboarding New Associates.

  1. Day 1: Introduction to the onboarding process. 
    1. Provide the new retail leader with the onboarding plan. This allows them to be aware of the activities for each step of the process.
    2. Spend the day setting the expectations of our culture using the Leadership Stool document.
    3. Select a Co-Star to walk through Days 2-3 using the CCB Onboarding Plan.
    4. Take time each day to check in with the new associate to gauge their experience and answer questions they may have.
    5. The Hiring Manager must request a New Officer Code.
  2. Days 2-3: Follow the Manager/Associate onboarding plans.
  3. Days 4-5: Retail Leadership Onboarding Plan
    1. Revisit Leadership Stool.
    2. Talk through the Leadership Onboarding plan for Days 4 and 5.
    3. Introduce A Day in the Life of a Client Experience Manager (CXM).
    4. Have the new leader complete the Retail Leadership Online Course. 
    5. Use the following Discussion Guides to debrief the course with the new associate.
