Overview
All security equipment in an office is required to be tested in each calendar month. The Lead Teller (LT), Client Experience Manager (CXM/CXMII), or a designated associate is responsible for is performing this test, and ensuring timely completion. It is recommended testing be conducted during a time the office is not open to clients.
Note: Lockdown fobs are required to be tested during lobby hours. When associates transfer to another office/department, they are required to leave their assigned FOB at the office and the office is required to coordinate with Corporate Security for guidance.
The day before testing, send an e-mail to all office associates indicating the date and time the alarm system is being placed in test mode.
Note: If an office fails to test within any calendar month, that month is considered as being missed and is to be noted accordingly on the monthly testing documentation.
Security equipment includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Vault door
- Teller station panic buttons
- Night depository Drop+Go
- Office building alarms
- Desk/Office panic buttons
- All FOBs (panic/lockdown)

SecureStat HQ Login
- Navigate to SecureStat HQ™.
- Note: Associates can create a shortcut to place on their desktop or can bookmark the site as a browser favorite.
- Enter your e-mail address and click Next.
- Enter your password and click Login.
- Click Login.
- When prompted, be sure to select both Remember this device and Save this passcard to my profile.

Testing Procedures
All security equipment in an office is required to be tested in each calendar month, preferably no later than the 15th.
Note: If an office fails to test within any calendar month, that month is considered as being missed and is to be noted accordingly on the monthly testing documentation.
Placing the System in Test
Follow the instructions below to place your office security equipment in test and complete the test.
- Once you are logged in to SecureStat HQ™, select your location.
- In the search box on the Dashboard, enter your office name.
- As you type, matching offices appear in a drop-down below the search box. Click your office to select it.
- Once you have selected your location, click Monitored Systems.
- In the top right corner of the next page, click Place System on Test.
- In the new window, enter your Passcard.
- Note: This code was assigned when SecureStat was first implemented in 2021, or during your onboarding.
- Click Submit. The Submit option remains grayed out until your passcode has been entered.
- In the new window select the Zones you want to test.
- If you are testing all zones, click Select All Zones.
- If you are only testing specific zones, click Other to expand a list of available zones for testing.
- Click each of the zones you need to test.
- Click Next.
- In the next window you must select when you want the test to begin and how long it will last.
- Under When would you like the test to begin?:
- Select Immediately if you are ready to begin the test.
- If not, click the drop-down box to schedule a future date and time.
- Under How long will the test be?, select a reasonable amount of time to complete the test.
- Tip: A test duration of at 1 hour is recommended.
- Click Submit Test.
- Under When would you like the test to begin?:
- After the screen reloads, the test information is displayed that the top of the screen.
- If you are immediately starting the test, click Refresh in the Upcoming Test box.
- On the refreshed screen the box now reads Zones currently in test.
- After placing the office in test mode using SecureStat HQ™, the alarm panel must be armed. To do this, arm the system as you would if you were leaving for the day.
- Note: It takes about 90 seconds for the system to fully arm.
- When the system is fully armed, complete testing of all office devices/locations. (Note: A full list of devices and locations can be found in your office's Master Zone List.)
- When testing is complete, click End Current Test in SecureStat HQ™.
- In the confirmation window, click End Test.
- Enter your passcard in the new window and click Submit.
Sensor Reset: Once testing of all required zones has been completed, a full disarm of the alarm system is required. Additionally a sensor reset is needed to to send a restore signal to the hold-up buttons. Both of these can be accomplished by completing the following steps on the alarm panel:
- Push the Command button until you see Menu.
- Select Yes.
- Swipe your card or enter your code.
- Push the Command button until you see Sensor Reset.
- Push the top right soft button. You will see a series of sensor on/sensor off messages.
- The system reset is complete when the date and time are displayed again on the panel.
Manager (LT, CXM, CXMII) Procedures
To place the alarm in test, do the following:
- On the Monitoring screen, use the Filter By drop-down menu to select Account.
- Click the ellipsis to select your office location.
- Click Place on Test.
- A window displays with all zones checked.
- Uncheck any zones NOT requiring testing.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Test Duration (up to 8 hours with at least 1 hour recommended).
- In the User Pin field, type your VPIN (UPPERCASE).
- Click Validate.
- You are now ready to begin testing alarms.
- Note: If testing is completed before the duration time is over, click Clear Test. The system will prompt for your User Pin/VPIN.
- Once procedures are completed in SecureStat, close the Vault Door prior to arming the system (DO NOT lock the vault door).

- Do the following to test the applicable zones as identified on the office Master Zone test list:

11. Once testing of all required zones is completed, a full disarm of the alarm system is required. A sensor reset is required to restore the hold-up buttons.
To disarm and restore, do the following:
- Press the Command button until Menu is displayed.
- Swipe your access card and enter your code.
- Press the Command button until Sensor Reset is displayed.
- Press the top right soft button.
- A series of sensor on/sensor off messages will display.
- The panel will display the date and time when the reset is complete.
- Go to SecureStat and click Clear Test.
- Continue to Reports tab for report creation, formatting and saving procedures.
Reports
Each office is required to create and save a Zone Test Summary report after their monthly alarm tests have been performed. This report shows all alarm zones within the office, whether tested or not. If a required zone was not tested, an explanation why it was not tested is needed. For a list of all zones within your office, see the Master Zone List located at J:>Lead Teller>Securetat>Office Folder> Master Zone List.
Read through the accordions below to learn how to pull, format, and save your Zone Test Summary report.
Pulling the Report
To pull the report, do the following:
- Log into SecureStat HQ™.
- Click on the Activity & Reports tab at the top of the screen.
- Scroll through the list of reports to locate the Zone Test Summary, click on it to open it.
- On the Select Report Criteria screen, select the following:
- Click Manually select a location or system.
- Select your location from the top drop-down menu.
- Leave the next drop-down as the default, All Systems.
- In the Date & Time Selection section, use the arrows to set the report range to the current month.
- Set the start date and time to the 1st of the month 12:00 a.m.
- Set the end date and time to the day of the test 11:30 p.m.
- Click Save.
- Once saved, the date rages appears in a new box. Click Submit.
- Click Manually select a location or system.
- Use the scroll bar to access the fields to the right, and click on Zone No arrow to sort the spreadsheet by zone.
- Click Download.
- The following message appears to notify you that the report is generating and the report will begin to populate on the screen below.
- Once the report has finished generating, click on Download to open a drop-down menu.
- In the drop-down menu select Download CSV.

- Once complete, open the report from your browser's download tray. The report should show all of your office's zones and their test status.
Formatting the Report
The report should have downloaded as a CSV file type. It must be edited and saved as an Excel file. Follow the instructions below to properly format your Zone Test Summary report.
- Delete columns B - J.
- Expand the remaining columns to view the data.
- To easily expand each column, double click on the line between each column label. (For example: Click on the line between A and B, B and C, C and D)

- In column I, do the following:
- Add the heading Comments.
- Open the Master Zone List for your office to determine if the zone required testing.
- If not, type N/A.
- If required, indicate why the alarm was not tested. Widen the row so comments are fully visible.
- In column J enter the name of the associate that completed the monthly testing.
- If there is a No in column F, the zone was not tested. For that row, change columns B - F to red. If not already added, add the reason for not testing the zone to column I.
Acceptable Reasons for Not Testing a Required Zone:
- N/A - Not on Master List

Landport Submitted #1234565 and date submitted.
- Note: Landport submitted and resolved within the same month, a NEW report must be pulled, completed, and saved.
- Landport submitted and NOT resolved within the same month, office management must update the report for the month the landport was submitted with the date of completion for each zone with issues.

Associate Not Present
- Note: If an associate is not present on day of testing but returns within the month of testing, their Panic fob is required to be tested upon their return and another report pulled and replaced with the current report on the J: drive.
- Failed to Test
- Not Tested
Failed to Test or Not Tested require a clear explanation in the comments column.
Note: Lockdown fobs are to be tested during lobby hours. They appear on the report as Not Tested. If they were tested, in the Comments column (column I), record the testing date (MM.DD.YY) and test successful.
Saving the Report
Once the report is formatted, the information amended, and comments added as detailed above, it must be saved as an Excel file in your office specific folder located at J:>Lead Teller> Securstat>Office Name. There should only be one report saved for each month.
Save the report using the following naming convention: MM.YYYY Office Name (for example: 04.2024 Havana). To save the file do the following:
- In Excel, click File > Save As > Browse.
- On the (J:) (shared drive) locate and open the Lead Teller > SecureStat > your office's folder.
- Open the folder for the current testing year.
- Change the file name using the naming convention MM.YYYY Office Name. (For example: 04.2024 Havana)
- Click the Save As Type box to expand the drop-down menu.
- Select Excel Workbook.
- Click Save.
Note: If a 2nd report is processed, be sure to replace the existing report with the new report. Each month should only have 1 report
Backup Associate Equipment Testing
When monthly security equipment testing is being performed by an associate other than the Lead Teller, CXM or RXM, the following procedures are to be followed. They can start/stop an office’s alarm test as well as pull any report should a technical issue arise.
Associates are advised to contact Corporate Security for assistance if needed.
- The day before testing, send an email to all office associates indicating the date and time the alarm system is being placed in test mode.
- Contact the security monitoring company, Securitas, at 1.800.548.4478.
- Provide Securitas with the address for the location you are testing.
- When prompted, provide your passcode/PIN to the Securitas representative.
- Each approved associate must have a code set up with Corporate Security. Contact _Corporate Security with PIN issues.
- Tell the Securitas representative you are placing the system in test mode.
- Tip: If asked for a duration, an hour is the recommended time for sufficient testing.
- Once the system is in test mode, close the Vault Door prior to arming the system (DO NOT lock the vault door).

- Testing actions for the applicable zones are identified on the office Master Zone test list. (See table below.)
- Once testing of all required zones is completed, a full disarm of the alarm system is required. A sensor reset is required to restore the hold-up buttons. To disarm and restore, do the following:

- Swipe your access card and enter your code.
- Press the Command button until Sensor Reset is displayed.
- Press the top right soft button.
- A series of sensor on/sensor off messages will display.
- The panel will display the date and time when the reset is complete.
- Contact the security monitoring company, Securitas, at 1.800.548.4478 to remove the office from test mode and verify zones not tested.
- Repeat Steps 1 – 3 if zones shown as not tested or resolved or determined require a Landport request for repair.

Reports
Once testing is completed, the Zone Test Summary report can be obtained by the offices LT, CXM or RXM. Once report is obtained, reviewed and completed or if additional testing is completed, notify the LT, CXM or RXM to pull a current report for saving to the J: drive,
