Ordering Checks for Clients or Associates

Capital City Bank (CCB) partners with Harland Clarke for check orders. The cost for client check orders is deducted from the client's checking account by automatic debit. Associates are eligible for 2 free check orders in a 12-month period, but they must use the free check styles (Capital City Bank Stock in wallet or duplicate), and for one Capital City Bank (CCB) checking account. Access to Harland is provided to all associates when attending PB training. Contact _SupportU to request access for additional associates as needed. Also, see Ordering HELOC Checks.

To order checks, do the following:

  1. Place check orders through the Harland Clarke website.
    1. Enter your User Name, Password, and Client Number (78108) to Sign In.
  2. In the Acct field, enter the account number. 
  3. Click Next. Note: If the client has previously ordered checks, the BR and Acct Plan fields display information.
  4. In the BR field, enter the Branch number
  5. From the Acct Plan drop-down menu, choose one of the following:
    • For associate check orders choose Employee.  
    • For client check orders choose the appropriate account plan.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Order Code and choose the product to order. 
    1. Click Custom to choose the standard CCB star checks which is the least expensive option for clients.
    2. Clients wishing to choose novelty check designs should be advised to use Online Banking to view all options available. 
  8. If the client wants single checks, click Click here for Options to choose single.  
  9. To include a complimentary register, click the Include Register box. 
  10. From the Quantity drop-down menu, choose the quantity of checks to order. 
  11. Starting Number displays 1001 (DO NOT change) for first-time check orders or the next check number in line for check re-orders. 
  12. In the Personal Details field, click Click Here to Enter Personal Detail.
  13. Enter information in each field and ensure this information is the same as what is reflected in the client CIF.
  14. Click Standard.
  15. From the Delivery Method drop-down menu, choose Bulk Mail
  16. From the Bill Code drop-down menu, choose one of the following:
    • For associate check orders, to ensure the associate is not charged for the check order, choose Chks Cust Exp/Dlvry Bank Exp. 
    • For client check orderschoose Normal Expense.
  17. Click Order Summary.
  18. Review total charges with client.  
  19. Click Submit.
