Reordering Client Checks

Capital City Bank (CCB) partners with Harland Clarke for check orders. The cost for client check orders is deducted from the client's checking account by automatic debit. Associates are eligible for 2 free check orders in a 12-month period, but they must use the free check styles (Capital City Bank Stock in wallet or duplicate), and for one Capital City Bank (CCB) checking account.

To reorder client checks, do the following:

  1. Place associate check orders through the Harland Clarke website.
  2. In the Acct field, enter the account number. 
  3. Click Next. The BR and Acct Plan fields display information.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Reorder with Edits.
  6. Click Order Code and choose the product to order. 
  7. If the client wants single checks, click Click here for Options to choose single.  
  8. To include a complimentary register, click the Include Register box.
  9. From the Quantity drop-down menu, choose the quantity of checks to order. Starting Number displays the next check number in line for the check re-order.
  10. To ensure that the information (name/address/phone number) is accurate, review the Personal Details field.
  11. From the Delivery Method drop-down menu choose Bulk Mail
  12. From the Bill Code drop-down menu, choose one of the following:
    • For associate check orders, to ensure the associate is not charged for the check order, choose Chks Cust Exp/Dlvry Bank Exp. 
    • For client check orderschoose Normal Expense.
  13. Click Order Summary.
  14. Review the total charges with client.  
  15. Click Submit.

Note: To contact Harland about orders or to place urgent orders using Quick-Ship or other express delivery services call 800.916.1973 (toll-free). Harland charges a service fee of $2.50 for all other agent-assisted (call in) orders that are not sent express delivery.

Clients can reorder checks through the Online Banking service as long as they have placed an order for checks in the last 2 years. For more information see Online Banking Check Reorders.
