When a client calls requesting a change in the payment due date for their INDIRECT AUTO LOAN, follow the steps below to ensure the client is eligible for the change.
Note: CLOCs and HELOCs are not eligible for payment due date changes.
Eligibility requirements for a payment due date change include the following:

The 1st payment MUST be made on the loan.
- Check the history on the loan to ensure at least 1 payment has been made in full.

The loan can NOT have a previous due date change.
- Loan due dates can change ONCE during the life of the loan.
- To review an account for a previous due date change, do the following:
- Review the Maintenance history on the loan.
- Review Synapsys CRM for a previous due date change event.
- Review the Maintenance history on the loan.

The loan MUST be current.
- A bill is generated and considered DUE 10 days prior to the due date.
- A payment due date change request in this window make the loan ineligible for a change.
Examples
Client calls November 19th to request a due date change to the 30th of every month.
Original due date is November 27th.
Bill is generated November 17th, therefore ‘due’ for the current month.
The client MUST pay the November billing cycle before the due date change can be submitted
Once payment is made, the request can be submitted before the 17th of the next month in order to make the due date the 30th of every month.
Delete
- The due date change MUST be done in the current month.
- If the loan meets ALL eligibility requirements for a due date change, complete a Synapsys Service Event under Loan Maintenance > Due Date Change.
