Issuing Replacement Debit Cards

Reorder Instant Issue Debit Card

Clients must be present in the lobby for the instant issue debit card to be issued.  Never issue Instant Issue debit cards through the drive-thru. 

To issue a replacement instant issue debit card for a client, do the following:

  1. Complete all regular processes in Xperience > Streamline to re-order the client a new card and upload the record. For debit card order procedures, click here.
  2. Verify that the PIN pad is connected and clear of any messages.
  3. Check the device status. Troubleshoot if disconnected or offline. 
  4. In Entrust > Integrated Client enter the account number and click Load.
  5. Select a card to re-issue. 
  6. Click Process.
  7. Click Select PIN.
  8. Tell the client to enter a 4-digit PIN in to the PIN pad and press the green button. 
  9. When the PIN pad prompts, tell the client to re-enter the PIN and press the green button. 
  10. Click Process.
    1. For Business Debit Cards on a CR825 single hopper machine ONLY, do the following:
      1. The system prompts you to insert the business debit card.
      2. Under dual control, access the Dual Control Business Card Box.
      3. Remove 1 business card and re-lock the Dual Control Business Card Box.
      4. Insert the business debit card, UNDERNEATH the previously loaded cards, in the machine opening until you hear a click.  
      5. Press the orange light on the front of the instant issue machine.
      6. Once the light turns green, the business card prints.
  11. Do one of the following:
    • If the print quality is below standard, do not give the card to the client, but instead quality reject and reissue the card
    • If the print quality is acceptable, continue to the next step
  12. Remind the client that the card is active and ready for use. 
  13. (Optional) Tell the client that a balance inquiry from an ATM is a great way to test the card. 
  14. Provide the client with the new Instant Issue Card in the card carrier.
