The following transactions authorize and/or post within the Bounce Protection (BP) limit. The posting sequence, from highest to lowest, is item, then fee; item, then fee, etc. up to the BP limit. When the next item plus the fee will not pay within the BP limit, this item is included on the Insufficient Funds report and EIP for review.
- Checks and other debits cashed/memo posted at the teller window
- Checks issued to a third party
- Silverlake multiple items entry and telephone transfers
- Debit card recurring transactions
- ACH transactions
- Bank Direct-automated transfers
- Capital City Bank Online scheduled and recurring transfer and bill payment transactions
Consumer Clients Only
The transactions below authorize and/or post within the BP limit only if the client has opted in under Regulation E. The Silverlake Card Opt In status must be set to A-Accept opt-in.
- Debit Card and ATM non-recurring point-of-sale transactions
- Debit Card and ATM withdrawals
Business Clients Only

Force pay transactions will pay and reduce the BP limit, but will not incur an overdraft fee. Examples include: service charges, check overrides, charge back items, etc. Preauthorized debits for loan payments, auto-transfers, and safe deposit box payments will not pay within the BP limit. These types of transactions post against the DDA Available balance. If the DDA Available balance is insufficient, these items will not post, nor will they create an insufficient fee.
