The Pre-dormant Inactivity Notice asks the client to perform one of the following to ensure the checking/savings account remains in active status:
- Use his/her ATM or debit card
- Perform an electronic transaction in his/her online banking service
- Make a deposit
- Write a check
- Contact CCB within 45 days of the date of the notice
If the client chooses not to perform one of the first four bullet points listed above, then any contact with CCB serves as notification to update the account. This keeps the account current.
The Pre-Dormant Inactivity Notice is mailed to the client approximately 45 days prior to the account in question reaching dormant status. Note: Capital City Bank sends this out only as a courtesy; it is not a requirement.
