Requesting New Officer Alphabetic or Alphanumeric Codes

Portfolio Managers

Associates who have alphabetic or alphanumeric officer codes do not have lending authority, but may be responsible for managing a deposit and/or loan portfolio.

To request new officer alphabetic or alphanumeric codes for these associates, the Client Experience Manager (CXM) or Regional Experience Manager (RXM) does the following:

  1. E-mail _Sales Management to request a code and copy the requester.
  2. Ensure the following information is contained in the e-mail:
    • Preferred 3 initials
      • The code is generated using the associate’s initials; if the associate has not taken Personal Banker (PB) II training, a 1 appears after the associate’s initials.
    • Associate Name
    • Name of who the associate reports directly to
    • Market Name
    • Office/Office Number
    • Cost Center (6315)
    • Associate’s Job Title (for example: PB II, CXM)
  3. If the associate has completed Personal Banker II training, the associate receives an alphabetic code. If the associate has not completed the Personal Banker II training, he/she receives an alphanumeric code.
    • Upon completion of Personal Banker II training, Sales Management will convert the alphanumeric code  to alphabetic, removing the number 1.
