Capital City Bank associates can access a corporate UPS account to send items to the Services Center or to another CCB office. The following instructions are for sending mail within the company, as well as creating a UPS shipping label.
UPS Shipping Instructions
Offices outside of the Tallahassee area use UPS to interoffice items. Each office has its own unique username and password. Contact _General Services if the login credentials are unknown.
Note: If there are multiple departments located in the same office, each department will have its own login. (For example: If a trust officer is located within a retail office, the trust officer will have their own login separate from the retail login.)
Follow the instructions below to create the shipping label and arrange pick up by UPS.
- Login to the UPS Shipping Portal.
- Complete section 1 - Where is this shipment going?
- Fill out the asterisk boxes: Company or Name, Address Line 1, City, State, and Zip Code.
- Ensure the Validate this street address box is checked.
- Note: If you receive an error that the address couldn't be found, try typing the address into Google. Some common abbreviations for street names are not accepted by the system. (For example: Hwy for Highway or Rte for Route)
- In section 2 - Where is this shipment coming from?, confirm the Ship From Address matches your office address.
- In section 3 - What are you shipping?, complete the following:
- Number of Packages
- Packaging Type: Select the appropriate package type
- Package Weight: Enter the approximate weight of your package

Package Declared Value: Enter an estimate of the value of what you are shipping.
- In sections 4 - 6, confirm the following information:
- Section 4: UPS Next Day Air
- Section 5: Branch/Dept Number should already be populated.
- Section 6: Payment method automatically sets to the office account.

- In section 7 confirm that the Smart Pickupoption is selected.
- This notifies UPS that there is a package waiting at your office to be picked up. UPS will then send someone to pick up the package by the date listed.

- Click the box to review shipping details before completing the shipment.
- Click Next.
- Review the shipment information to confirm shipping details are accurate.
- Click Ship Now.
- This generates the shipping label in a new window. (Note: Pop-ups need to be enabled for this website in order to view and print the shipping label.)
- Click on the label in the new window.
- Type Ctrl+P to print the label.
- Attach the shipping label to the package.
Interoffice in Tallahassee
For associates working in Tallahassee, there is no need to use UPS. An associate from the mailroom does a pick up and drop off to each of the local locations. Larger offices, such as Metro and Main, have daily mail runs. The smaller offices have pick up once or twice a week, depending on their size.
To send mail interoffice use the provided manila envelopes. These should have the name and location/department of both the recipient and the sender listed on the front of the envelope.
