Waiving Debit Card Reorder Fees

You can waive the card reorder fee for only 5 reasons. These are:

  • Bank error
  • Fraud
  • Officer approval
  • Chip Malfunction
  • Card is for a Private Client Checking account

Note: Do not charge the card reorder fee if the reorder is due to a bank error, fraud, or if officer approval is obtained. 

  1. When prompted to Card Reorder Fee, choose No. The $10.00 fee defaults on the screen. Note: Do not change the amount.
  2. Click OK.
  3. Click OK when the Customer ID prompt appears.
  4. Record consumer and business card fee waivers by using the following Synapsys services event: Deposit Services – Waive Card Reorder Fee.
  5. In the Additional Comments field, list the appropriate waive reason:
    • Bank Error – Detail the type of bank error.
    • Fraud – Provide details if necessary.
    • Officer Approved – List the officer’s name and the reason for the waiver.
    • Chip Malfunction
    • Private Client Checking
