You can waive the card reorder fee for only 5 reasons. These are:
- Bank error
- Fraud
- Officer approval
- Chip Malfunction
- Card is for a Private Client Checking account
Note: Do not charge the card reorder fee if the reorder is due to a bank error, fraud, or if officer approval is obtained.
- When prompted to Card Reorder Fee, choose No. The $10.00 fee defaults on the screen. Note: Do not change the amount.
- Click OK.
- Click OK when the Customer ID prompt appears.
- Record consumer and business card fee waivers by using the following Synapsys services event: Deposit Services – Waive Card Reorder Fee.
- In the Additional Comments field, list the appropriate waive reason:
- Bank Error – Detail the type of bank error.
- Fraud – Provide details if necessary.
- Officer Approved – List the officer’s name and the reason for the waiver.
- Chip Malfunction
- Private Client Checking
