Clients can suspend (warm) or deactivate (hot) their debit card(s) through their online banking services.
Suspend (Warm)- client has misplaced debit card or has concerns that someone else may have the card or number without permission.
Client must contact our office to reactivate the card.
Deactivate (Hot) - client card has been lost or stolen.
Note: Once a debit card is placed into H – HOT status, you CAN NOT reactivate that card. Hot cards require a new debit card or suggest an instant issue card office in the area.
To suspend or deactivate their debit card, tell clients to do the following:
- Log in to their Online Banking account.
- Click Services > Debit Card Services.
- Use the drop down arrow to choose the correct card.
- Once a client clicks suspend or deactivate, the card is immediately put into that status and becomes unavailable for use.
To have card status updated or replacement cards issued, clients must contact our offices.
