Overview
Officer codes are for associates who need to have CIF records, deposit accounts, and/or loan accounts coded to indicate their role as relationship manager or account officer. Designated associates only receive one officer code based on their position. Officer codes are currently managed and assigned by the following departments:
- Credit Administration for Numeric Code
- Sales Management for Alpha or Alpha/Numeric Code

Types of Officer Codes
There are 3 types of officer codes:

Numeric (3 digit)
- Numeric codes may be placed at the CIF, deposit account, account analysis and loan account levels. For loan accounts, the code may be placed in the primary or secondary officer code fields.

Alpha (3 digit)
- Alpha codes may be placed at the CIF, deposit account, account analysis levels, and only placed in the secondary officer code field for loans approved by Central Underwriting.

Alpha/Numeric (4 digit)
- Alpha/Numeric codes may be placed on CIF, deposit account, and account analysis levels only. Alpha/Numeric codes may not be identified on a loan account.
