Do the following to maintenance a W8 BEN form:
- In Xperience > Products > Silverlake > StreamLine Platform Menu > Recall Existing Accounts from Core.
- On the Inquiry/Website Selection screen, click OK.
- In the Application field, click the ellipsis
to choose the appropriate account type and click Select.
- Enter the clients Account Number.
- The Branch field populates automatically.
- Click Prompt for Platform Type.
- Choose *MD - Misc Docs.
- Click Select.
- Click OK.
- In the Update the StreamLine Account field,
- Drop down to Y - Yes.
- Click OK.
- On the Miscellaneous Document screen, click OK.
- A prompt displays “All Fields have been verified click OK to continue".
- Click OK.
- If CIF Maintenance is required on additional signers (not the primary) click Relationships.
- Select the signer and click CIF Maintenance to update information accordingly.
- Do the following on the Deposit Miscellaneous Forms screen, Line 224 W-8 Certificate of Foreign Status:
- Click the ellipses

- Choose Y - Yes.
- Click OK.
- A prompt displays “All Fields have been verified click OK to continue".
- Click the ellipses
- Review each screen and update fields as required. Be sure to click Next Records to view all screens.
- Complete all fields by referencing the Client Identification Program (CIP) article.
- Click OK until you reach the StreamLine Form Print Selection.
- Submit the documents via eSign.
- Place the documents not submitted via eSign with the daily work for imaging following the Document Imaging Procedures.
