W8 BEN Account Maintenance

Do the following to maintenance a W8 BEN form:

  1. In Xperience > Products > Silverlake > StreamLine Platform Menu > Recall Existing Accounts from Core.
  2. On the Inquiry/Website Selection screen, click OK.
  3. In the Application field, click the ellipsis to choose the appropriate account type and click Select.
  4. Enter the clients Account Number.
  5. The Branch field populates automatically.
  6. Click Prompt for Platform Type.
    1. Choose *MD - Misc Docs.
    2. Click Select.
  7. Click OK.
  8. In the Update the StreamLine Account field, 
    1. Drop down to Y - Yes.
    2. Click OK.
  9. On the Miscellaneous Document screen, click OK.
    1. A prompt displays “All Fields have been verified click OK to continue".
  10. Click OK.
    1. If CIF Maintenance is required on additional signers (not the primary) click Relationships.
    2. Select the signer and click CIF Maintenance to update information accordingly.
       
  11. Do the following on the Deposit Miscellaneous Forms screen, Line 224 W-8 Certificate of Foreign Status:
    1. Click the ellipses .
    2. Choose Y - Yes.
    3. Click OK.
    4. A prompt displays “All Fields have been verified click OK to continue". 
  12. Review each screen and update fields as required. Be sure to click Next Records to view all screens.
  13. Complete all fields by referencing the Client Identification Program (CIP) article. 
  14. Click OK until you reach the StreamLine Form Print Selection.
  15. Submit the documents via eSign. 
  16. Place the documents not submitted via eSign with the daily work for imaging following the Document Imaging Procedures.
