Overview

Clients can apply for a new  account online. Online Account opening can be completed quickly, easily and securely from anywhere and at any time. Online Account opening is available for consumer accounts only and includes checking, savings, money market, and CDs. 

When directing clients to online account opening be sure to determine how they plan to fund the new account.  Accounts opened online must be funded online.  Knowing this in advance will ensure an exceptional client experience.

Requirements & Review

Every account submitted is reviewed by Call Me Direct (CMD).

  • Accounts opened online will have an account number that begins with 39- for a checking account and 58- for a savings account.
  • Accounts opened online do not have a signed signature card.
  • Accounts opened online have OA in the Blue Message line.
  • Accounts opened online are opened and funded in the back office 99% of the time.

Funding Options

Initial opening deposits for accounts opened online must be funded online.  Clients can make their opening deposit using the following options:

  • Internal transfer
  • Credit card (Visa or Mastercard only)
  • ACH

All funding options are processed immediately upon account approval. Any additional products or service requests that clients make during their online account opening process are handled in the back office, such as Online Banking, eDocuments, checks, debit card, etc.
